I am Mark
A late comer to photography but always with a passion for music. I had plenty of poor camera phone photos from gigs I attended and this gave me the drive and passion to purchase my first "proper" camera, the Nikon D5000 with kit lens.
It was ok. It was a step up and despite learning quickly the technical aspects of photography, I still wanted more - I wanted perfection.
This led me to purchase my first full frame camera, the Nikon D750 along with the essential glass for music photography, the Nikon 24-70mm and 70-200mm lenses.
Now, with the equipment more than capable of taking the shots I wanted, the next phase of my learning could begin.
To me, there is more to taking a good photo than just getting the settings right in the camera - even in Auto, modern cameras do a great job and everyone can claim to be a photographer.
Photography is an art form.
It's about composition, timing and balance.
This is where you will see the difference between someone who owns a camera and someone who has learnt their craft through years of constant learning and experience.
I am a photographer - it's what I do
